“ACP1000 Half Speed Steam Turbine Generator” Leads China’s Technology Exportation
China completed design and manufacturing
research of project on ACP1000 half speed steam turbine generator that
has its own intellectual rights, which is the supporting facility used
for 1150MW nuclear power plant. This project was undertaken by Dongfang
Electric Machinery Co., Ltd, and it belongs to strategic emerging
products of 2014. The company has made research and innovation on core
technology, including total design, vibration analysis, rotor and stator
coil design, insulation system of rotor and stator as well as steam
turbine generator manufacturing process.
The company’s apply for one invention patent has entered the stage of substantial examination and has obtained three patents for the utility models. Target market for this product is mainly focus on China domestic advanced PWR large half speed nuclear power plants, and the expected output of it is estimated to reach over RMB 300 million. The success of this product will comprehensively upgrade the design and manufacturing level of nuclear power conventional island steam turbine generator key equipment, meanwhile, lead the exportation of China’s nuclear power generation technologies.
