Erzhong Group Casted 600-tons Nuclear Power Steel Ingot
On August 22th, China National Erzhong Group
Co., Ltd successfully casted a 600-tons steel ingot of motor shaft used
for Fuqing NPP unit 6. The product is one of the key nuclear products
for the company. The success marks that Erzhong Group has mastered key
technology of producing giant nuclear half speed shaft.
The 600-tons steel ingot is a large key forging in the nuclear power system demanding in terms of chemical composition and mechanical properties. It is quite difficult in the production, organization, smelting casting part due to limits such as equipment level and technical capacity constraints.
