An email regarding Audiosolutionz energy webinars

A company called Audiosolutionz called me to say they were expanding their energy webinars and would I do one.  I said yes.

Now, if it were only my webinar, I would be quite hesitant to send a link to this list.  This is a non-commercial list, and I know it, and Audiosolutionz charges for webinars. I am not writing this post in order to get you to sign up for my webinar.  (However, it's okay if you choose to sign up!)

I believe that this webinar outreach is a new thing that others on the list should know about. Audiosolutionz has reached out to others whom we know, also. Three familiar people will have webinars with them in November.

I think we should think of these webinars as a way to reach a whole new audience, based on the extensive Audiosolutionz email list.

Here are the three webinars, in chronological order.

1) Meredith (my) Webinar on price rises on the grid,  November 6:  "The myth of the polar vortex: Winter Electricity Price Pressures and Responses"

2) Ulrich Dechter Webinar on intermittents November 11 "The Challenge of Placing Intermittent Power Generators On the Grid"

For those who don't know him, Uli used to work at Westinghouse and frequently wrote blog posts at ANS Nuclear Cafe

3) Tamar Cerafici on the carbon regulations, November 13
"Are the New Carbon Regulations Too Much or Not Enough? A Review Of EPA’s New Rule For Greenhouse Gas Emission"

Tamar has been a guest blogger on Idaho Samizdat. She is a lawyer who has worked extensively on nuclear licensing issues (pro-nuclear!)

Audiosolutionz asked me to "pick a topic". I chose the topic.  It has to be a topic of interest to people in business or non-profits, not just homeowners or whatever...Audiosolutionz has very targeted lists in order to publicize their webinars.

Others on this list might want to contact Audiosolutionz with ideas for webinars. This is not a way to get rich, but it could be a way to get various messages to a wider and unexpected audience.

Best,
Meredith
