SNPTC signed Agreements with South Africa
The State Nuclear Power Technology
Corporation (SNPTC) signed training agreement on South’s Africa’s
nuclear program with the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation SOC
Limited (NECSA) at Great Hall of the People on December 4th. Meanwhile,
SNPTC also signed South Africa’s nuclear power project financing
framework agreement with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and
South Africa’s Standard Bank.
Those two agreements are the implementation of related projects of the nuclear cooperation framework agreement between the governments signed on November, 7th, which will lay a solid foundation for two countries to deepen nuclear power project cooperation.
According to the training agreement, SNPTC will train nearly 300 nuclear power professional technical and management personnel within two years through basic training, professional training and on-the-job training according to local talent training demand of South Africa. The training will be started form March 2015.
The financing agreement will support SNPTC’s overseas nuclear power project development work.
