State fights to continue Vt. Yankee emergency planning
Vermont continued its fight to force Entergy Nuclear to continue
emergency planning in towns surrounding Vermont Yankee nuclear power
plant until the plant’s spent but still highly radioactive nuclear fuel
is transferred to a passive, air-cooled system.
