Mankind is losing its integrity to speak the TRUTH
If
you don't review this, you will miss some very compelling Truth and
FACTS versus how media censorship and political misguidance challenge human integrity!
Nevada Legislators, County Commissioners and other stakeholders:
The
US Nuclear Energy Foundation has been a single entity nuclear and Yucca
advocacy non-profit foundation for the past ten years. For all of this
time we have been censored by the Nevada media in one way or another by
Nevada's political and bureaucratic machine oftentimes referred to as
Senator Harry Reid. It is a sad day in human integrity when Nevadan's
are threatened and intimidated by this Senators misguided political
agenda. Discussions about political parties are becoming pointless when
the discussions should be about self-serving human integrity. Here is a current example.

Dear Mr. Hengel:
This is our 3rd request for you to publish our Op-Ed "Yucca Mountain Politics verses fact". It appears that the LVRJ is outwardly censoring
the supportive position of the Yucca Mountain Program by the US Nuclear
Energy Foundation. We represent the voice of a fair number of Nevada
grassroots citizens. This is a sad day for the freedom of press and the
freedom of speech, both clearly protected by "our" Constitution and both
constantly threatened by censorship. I'm sorry to see the LVRJ as a
participant.
I
am attaching an updated version of this article which adds direct
reference to two Nevada Legislative Enactments concerning the
establishment of the Nevada Agency for Nuclear Projects. This article is based on facts, demonstrating that the agencies anti Yucca actions are NOT following the Legislated enactments of the law
which established the agency. I would be interested in knowing your
reasons for not publishing this Op-Ed in a request for transparency.

Current Activities
I have met with some very close friends and supporters of USNEF to overview our current ACTION activities, here they are:
-
We have printed 2,500 of our Yucca Educational Program Survey
brochure, planning to mail to 1,000 Nevada households of any party for a
beta test of the survey. Many of these are being distributed by hand
through various USNEF supporters and some political, Nye & Mineral
Counties. Please, help get them out and mail them back to USNEF, PO Box
2867, Sparks, NV 89432-2861.

We are distributing a PDF of the County Resolution SAMPLE DRAFT
(A resolution supporting the completion of the Nuclear Regulatory
Commission's Review of the Yucca Mountain license application). Our
focus with this draft is to bring it to the Washoe County Republican
Party and the Washoe County Commissioners. The rural counties, nine of
Nevada's 16 counties over 50%, have submitted such a resolution "for the completion of the STUDY". The study never should have been stopped by funding termination rather that a legal reversal of the law.

We
are also inviting any and all organizations, clubs and businesses to
document a statement for stakeholders to call for the completion of the
Yucca Application Study.
