Quad Cities NPP to close in September?

Exelon’s CEO Christopher Crane announced last week that the company would decide whether to continue to operate the money-losing Quad Cities nuclear power plant in September this year.

As decommissioning becomes an immediate reality for the US nuclear industry, It’s clear that every utility must have a robust D&D strategy in place to ensure they aren’t caught out by premature shutdowns.

At the 2nd Annual Nuclear Decommissioning and Used Fuel Strategy Summit (5-6 October, Charlotte NC), a handpicked line-up of expert utility speakers will reveal their forward strategies for decommissioning to ensure safe and cost-effective shutdown.

Take a look at what Exelon, OPG, Entergy, PG&E and more will be exclusively sharing in October right here
