There is no connection between the Fukushima accident and the Toshiba scandal

Just in case this gets some international traction, one Japanese news outlet (The Japan Times) has blamed the Toshiba "book cooking" scandal on the Fukushima accident. The scandal actually began well-before the nuke accident. Below are three links, one for the Japan Times story, one from India Times, and another from Reuters (via Business Insider).

Japan Times has an unwavering history of Fukushima-bashing, and now resorts to the ENE News and Fukushima Diary mode of guilt-by-distant-association reporting. There is no connection between the Fukushima accident and the Toshiba scandal, whatsoever.
