You are invited to attend Crowds & Climate, the Climate CoLab's year-end event held at the MIT campus on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
Running
for the third year, this conference brings together leaders from
businesses, non-profit organizations, governments and communities around
the world to advance an online global problem-solving effort to tackle
climate change.
As
a key part of the event, we will celebrate the innovative proposals
that emerged from the 2015 Climate CoLab contests. These winners will
present how their work tackles specific climate change challenges and
will engage with leaders in the field to help accelerate their ideas.
Presentations will be followed by a highly interactive workshop, where
you can meet and contribute to these winners yourself, as well as engage
in conversations with other attendees about how the world's experts and
citizens can work together to solve the complex, complicated problem of
climate exchange.
This year's program is tied closely with Solve,
MIT's new cross-disciplinary leadership program, which is holding its
inaugural event this same week. Those attending Crowds & Climate
will participate in Solve's Tuesday roundtable panel on fuel, where world-class thought leaders will discuss the future of energy, food and water. Attendees are also
invited to join the Solve opening convocation on Monday afternoon.
You'll
leave these events inspired to work together to solve the world’s
greatest challenges., and with connections, insights and a program of
actions you, and others, will take to help advance the global response to climate change.
