Rutgers
Energy Institute and the Center for Energy, Economic and Environmental
Policy (CEEEP) present a talk by Professor Richard Schmalensee and Dr.
Francis O’Sullivan on the future of solar energy.
The event will be held at the Special Events Forum, Civic Square
Building, at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public
Policy, 33 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, New Jersey, from
10:30 am to 12:00 pm, with refreshments starting at 10:00 am.
The Future of Solar Energy study reflects on the technical,
commercial and policy dimensions of solar energy today and makes
recommendations to policymakers regarding more effective federal and
state support for research and development, technology demonstration,
and solar deployment.
Richard Schmalensee is the Howard W. Johnson Professor of Economics
& Management Emeritus at MIT and Francis O’Sullivan is the Director
of Research and Analysis at the MIT Energy Initiative.
