A promising 2016 for SMRs and advanced reactors

As 2015 came to a close, the SMR and advanced reactor communities were greeted with news which promises 2016 will be another fantastic year for both industries.
The UK government announced a £250 million investment into nuclear R&D programs, the House Committee on Science, Space, & Technology introduced the Nuclear Energy Innovation Capabilities Act to support national labs in developing advanced reactor concepts and Indonesia signed an MOU to develop a Thorium Molten Salt Reactor with US company ThorCon.
With so many promising developments in such a lucrative industry, international executives are meeting at the International SMR and Advanced Reactor Summit in April (14-15) to discuss how to use this increased public sector funding to ensure the swift deployment of SMRs and advanced reactors.
Find out what NuScale, Southern, PSEG, JAEC and Bruce Power will be discussing at the meeting here
