  • Lisa Barsotti
    Principal research scientist at the MIT Kavli Institute. Her work is pushing the frontiers of gravitational wave research.
  • Michael Johnson
    SAO Einstein fellow at the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. He is creating a gigantic network of telescopes capable of imaging compact objects like black holes.
  • Melissa Franklin
    The Mallinckrodt Professor of Physics at Harvard University. She studies collisions between protons accelerated to the highest energies at the Large Hadron Collider.
  • Lindley Winslow
    Assistant professor of physics at MIT. She hunts for neutrinos and axionic dark matter using sophisticated detectors.
  • Dennis Whyte
    Director of the Plasma Science and Fusion Center at MIT. His research concerns the basic physics of plasmas in tokamaks.
  • Sarah Ballard
    Torres Fellow for Exoplanetary Research at MIT Kavli Institute. She studies planetary systems around stars other than the sun.
