All Aboard the Minibus The House Energy & Water Appropriations bill is on the floor this week, wrapped up in a "minibus" package along with Legislative Branch appropriations and Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations. 50 separate amendments to Energy & Water language will be considered, including amendments considering funding for Yucca Mountain, a versatile neutron source, and ITER.   The bill's future is uncertain as Democrats and some Republicans plan to vote against the minibus. If the bill does not pass, the House may attempt to bring each appropriations bill to the floor individually.
