TVA sues local property owners for temporary access to land for major power line project | WTVC: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is suing property owners in Meigs County and Hamilton County for access to land for their upcoming power line project. In August, TVA announced plans to build a 5. 25-mile power line from the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant to its planned Gunstocker Creek station. The line would run through parts of Bradley, Hamilton, and Meigs Counties. Greg Vital owns 125 acres of farmland in Meigs County where the proposed power lines would go.
