What?
REI is hosting our annual symposium on Wednesday May 8, 2019. Mark your calendars for the most anticipated energy event of the year. Spend the day with leaders, experts, and peers in the field as they address the newest initiatives, developments, and phenomena in energy.
Who?
Confirmed keynote speakers include:

Scott Glenn, Distinguished Professor & Co-Director, Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences & Center for Ocean Observing Leadership at Rutgers University

“The Power of Partnerships: Offshore Wind Energy, Environmental Awareness, and Shared Economic Success”

and

Annmarie Carlton, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine

“Promoting Full Cost Accounting of Energy Choices with Environmental Impacts: An Offshore Wind Farm Air Quality Impact Study”


Invited speakers include senior members of the New Jersey Administration responsible for developing offshore wind and developers of New Jersey offshore wind.

The Symposium will start at 8:30 with a light breakfast available at 8 am. Following the General Session, which ends at 1 pm, there will be several breakout sessions on topics related to offshore wind. Lunch will also be provided.
