This is sort of your April update email? Except, it's late! We've been busy.

Not sure if you knew, but the fate of four nuclear plants hangs in the balance of legislation in two state houses.

If you live in Ohio or PA and haven’t emailed your legislators yet, stop reading and do so now. We’ll wait. :-) 

Ohio Action.  Pennsylvania Action.

Don’t live in OH or PA?  Well good news-- there’s a bill that would be hugely beneficial to Advanced Nuclear reactors, and it’s under consideration in the Senate right now, you can ask your Senators to support it here.
 

So here’s what Generation Atomic did in April:

• Trained 40 students how to have a good meeting with their legislators.
• Testified at the Ohio Statehouse in favor of the legislation to save the plants there.
• Emailed, called, and/or tweeted legislators 909 times since mid-March, with campaigns in 3 different countries.
• Launched a new online magazine, featuring beautiful stories about nuclear and nature, and even a guest piece by NuScale Founder and CTO Jose Reyes. 

We are people powered organization. Without hundreds of volunteer hours and the generous financial support of folks like you, none of this happens.  So thank you!  Now let's keep pushing. The stakes are high.
