€17 Million Contract Signed For Excavation Works :: The Independent Global Nuclear News Agency: Finnish nuclear waste management company Posiva and construction company YIT have signed a €17m contract for the second phase of excavation works at the final disposal facility at Olkiluoto in in the southwest of Finland.
Posiva said the contract covers the excavation work for two central tunnels and five deposition tunnels connected to them.
