Perry nuclear plant restarts following unexpected shutdown
The
Perry nuclear plant shutdown that began July 27 ended Aug 6. The
shutdown was related to a "malfunction in the turbine overspeed
protection testing circuitry that occurred during normal testing," said
Tom Becker, whose employer, Sitrick & Co, is handling FirstEnergy
Solution's public relations.
