PG&E releases list of California cities, counties on power shut-off watch: Here’s what you need to know - SFChronicle.com: Pacific Gas and Electric Co. said it might do power shut-offs in up to half of California’s 58 counties on Wednesday and Thursday to prevent electrical lines from sparking fires. Much of the Bay Area is included in the shut-off watch.
