Company Wins Multi-Million-Euro Contract For Zhangzhou Components :: The Independent Global Nuclear News Agency: Rolls-Royce has been awarded a multi-million-euro contract by China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) to provide Bibloc pressure transmitters for two nuclear reactors under construction in China.
The British engineering giant said the pressure transmitters are for Zhangzhou-1 and Zhangzhou-2 in Fujian province, eastern China. Both plants are of the domestic HPR1000 or Hualong One reactor design. Zhangzhou-1 is scheduled to enter commercial operation in 2024 and Zhangzhou-2 in 2025.
