NuScale SMR receives US design certification approval : Regulation & Safety - World Nuclear News: The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a final safety evaluation report for NuScale's small modular reactor. This is the first-ever FSER to be issued by the NRC for an SMR, and represents the completion of the technical review and approval of the design.
