Completion of German waste repository delayed : Waste & Recycling - World Nuclear News: Work to convert the former Konrad iron ore mine into Germany's first repository for low and intermediate-level radioactive waste is running about two years behind schedule, according to the country's federal radioactive waste company, Bundesgesellschaft für Endlagerung. The repository will not be completed in 2027 as planned, it said.
