Republicans call for more nuclear energy in Senate climate bill
A climate-change bill set to be unveiled today by Sens. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and John Kerry, D-Mass., seeks a greater cut in carbon emissions than does the House-approved legislation. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said he would not back the bill because it does not help the nuclear energy sector.
