Chu: Nuclear power is key to limiting greenhouse-gas emissions
Nuclear energy can help the U.S. curb its carbon footprint by 80%, said Energy Secretary Steven Chu. Speaking to workers at Idaho National Laboratory, Chu touted nuclear energy's importance to the Obama administration, which has requested $54 billion in loan guarantees to revive the industry.
