Opinion: Smaller reactors offer more flexibility
The Department of Energy has a program that is developing smaller-sized reactors capable of producing 300 megawatts, which are better suited for smaller communities or workplaces, according to Dan Ingersoll of Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
