Rockefeller sees 53 votes for bill to block EPA regs

Sen. Rockefeller Says 53 Senators Back Halt to EPA Climate Rules
Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., said his bill to impose a two-year hiatus on EPA stationary source GHG emissions rules had 53 supporters in the Senate, E&E News PM reported. Rockefeller also said he believed he could reach a 60-vote super majority for the bill. He expected the Senate to hold a vote on his bill in a lame-duck session this year, potentially as an amendment. Rockefeller said there were 11 Democrats and all 41 Republicans joining in his view that the EPA rules were wrong.
