Panel overlooked Texans' welfare in nuclear-waste ruling
The Texas Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Commission put the interests of Waste Control Specialists ahead of residents' welfare when it approved rules that would allow 36 states to send their hazardous waste to a Texas disposal facility, writes the editorial board of the Dallas Morning News.
