Energy Dept., 3 firms sign SMR agreements
The
Department of Energy and three power companies have signed deals that
could lead to the development of small modular reactors at the Savannah
River Site in South Carolina. Under the terms, the department, SRS and
the Savannah River National Laboratory will assist the firms in picking
