NRC, industry officials to discuss nuclear plant seismic risks

Regulatory Commission personnel and industry officials will hold
discussions in San Mateo, Calif., this week about seismic risks at U.S.
nuclear plants. Last month, the agency requested that nuclear plant
operators conduct seismic-risk studies as part of post-Fukushima Daiichi
safety reviews. Also, NRC Chairman Gregory Jaczko on Friday will tour
Southern California Edison's San Onofre nuclear plant, which has been
