NRC approves license extension for NFS plant in Tenn.
The
Nuclear Regulatory Commission has extended Nuclear Fuel Services'
operating license for its fuel facility in Tennessee for another 25
years. Agency staff determined that the renewal application demonstrated
"the company's qualifications, training and experience to use the
licensed material according to NRC regulations, and that the company's
equipment, facilities and procedures are adequate to protect health and
