New US Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidance on natural hazard studies for nuclear sites
The US NRC has published an
excellent set of guidelines for conducting earthquake hazard assessments
for nuclear sites following the SSHAC Level 3 and 4 procedures to
ensure capture of uncertainty as a basic requirement for regulatory
assurance. The guidelines can be downloaded for free from the US NRC
link below.
