[Date: 2013-08-22]
The 15th International Conference on Environmental
Remediation and Radioactive Waste Management (ICEM 2013) will be held
from 8 to 12 September 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.
As a result of the lack of appropriate operating practices in past nuclear activities, many land areas have been left contaminated. Environmental remediation aims to reduce the radiation exposure from pollutants in land areas and surface or ground water.
Now in its fifteenth series, this conference aims to provide the latest information on remediation strategies and technologies, management approaches and regulatory practices. It will bring together specialists in the field of waste management and environmental science to foster collaboration in dealing with environmental issues.
