Video Highlights Advanced Reactor Materials Testing at Idaho Lab
Reactor components' ability to withstand irradiation
over long periods of time is crucial to their safety and to nuclear
plants' relicensing. The Idaho National Laboratory is using its Advanced
Test Reactor to research the resilience of materials at higher levels
of radiation than are available from other facilities. This video
provides a look at part of the Light Water Reactor Sustainability
Program the lab is undertaking with the Electric Power Research
