A note from Leslie Corrice

In my book (Fukushima: The First Five Days) back in 2011, I said that the Fukushima accident should not have happened. American NRC and IAEA "suggestions", a decade prior, to waterproof emergency electrical systems should have been followed. They weren't!! OK...the attached link relates... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2015/09/22/fukushima-accident-was-preventable-new-study-finds/?commentID=washingtonpost.com%2FECHO%2Fitem%2F28901b24-570e-45a5-b5ed-2753bff1e509

So...why don't I feel good about this sort of related vindication? Because (emphasis added), IT TOOK THE AMERICAN POPULAR PRESS MORE THAN 4 YEARS TO CATCH UP!! (Gr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r...)
