Michigan Retiring 25 Coal-Fired Power Plants by 2020
The
state of Michigan has for years turned to coal for about half of its
power generation, according to the U.S. Energy Information
Administration. Now, more than two dozen of the state’s coal plants are
slated for retirement in the next five years.
