GEH, Southern Nuclear To Collaborate On PRISM Development
GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) and Southern Nuclear announced an agreement Monday
to collaborate in studying the development and licensing of advanced
reactors, including GEH's PRISM sodium-cooled fast reactor design.
GEH also announced Monday that it would provide technical advise to Imperial College in London and Bangor University's Boiling Water Reactor Research Hub and Network, having signed a memorandum of understanding that will include placing a part-time researcher at Bangor University and extending support to an internship program at Imperial College.
