University of Iowa establishes research group on nuclear energy and waste | Iowa Now: A new, growing group of scientists at the University of Iowa is researching how to address the storage and potential reuse of nuclear waste. Armed with grants from various federal agencies, UI faculty in chemistry, engineering, and radiology also are educating undergraduate and graduate students about the work.
