US plant operators prepare for Hurricane Florence - World Nuclear News: Operators of nuclear plants in the Carolinas and Virginia are preparing for Hurricane Florence, which is expected to make landfall in the south-east of the USA later today. The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s regional incident response centre in Atlanta, Georgia will provide round-the-clock support during the storm.
