The American Nuclear Society is taking students across the country on a Virtual Field Trip to learn more about nuclear energy.
As part of the Navigating Nuclear: Energizing Our WorldTM curriculum,
the ANS Center for Nuclear Science and Technology Information has
collaborated with Discovery Education to produce a 22-minute video that
takes students on an interactive visit to the Palo Verde Generating
Station in Arizona. The field trip is available for free to all
educators and students—as is the rest of the Navigating Nuclear
curriculum.
The
video launched last week as part of Nuclear Science Week and has
already been viewed by nearly 60,000 students. Check out the Virtual Field Trip and learn more about Navigating Nuclear.
The
field trip and Navigating Nuclear program would not be possible without
the support of our donors, including ANS members like you. Thanks to
programs like this, ANS is providing free curriculum and other
educational resources to millions of students across the country.
