Exec: Exelon may have to close three Ill. plants | SmartBrief: Chris Crane, Exelon's CEO, said that his company's three Illinois-based nuclear plants -- Braidwood, Byron and Dresden -- could be forced to shut down unless the state intervenes with financial assistance. The company is in talks with state lawmakers on possible legislation to support the industry, he said.
