Fukushima Update December 6, 2019 –
F. Daiichi corium removal is scheduled to
begin with unit #2 in late 2021… None of the 77 fish taken within 20 kilometers
of F. Daiichi had radioactivity more than 100 Bq/kg … Pictures of the
dismantling of the upper portion of the F. Daiichi units #1 exhaust
stack… Greenpeace says there are “hot spots” in Fukushima’s J-Village… Another
successful nuclear evacuation drill occurs in southwestern Japan… Japan will
continue using coal-fired power plants despite U.N. concerns.
