BWXT receives TRISO nuclear fuel manufacturing contract | WSET: LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- BWX Technologies, Inc. announced Wednesday, March 11 that its BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (NOG) subsidiary has been awarded a contract from the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). According to a press release, the contract is so the company can manufacture TRISO nuclear fuel to support the continued development of the Transformational Challenge Reactor (TCR).
