GE, Tokyo Power Company Win Appeal Over Fukushima Meltdown: General Electric Co. and Tokyo Electric Power Co. don’t have to face claims filed by U.S. service members over the Fukushima nuclear meltdown because Japanese law applies, and the case should be dismissed on international-comity grounds, the Ninth Circuit said Friday, affirming dismissal.
