Renewable Energy Is Beginning To Power Africa

More than two-thirds of the approximately 800 million people living in sub-Saharan Africa lack access to electricity. Taking a private sector approach, U.S. President Obama launched the Power Africa initiative in October 2013 to tackle the issue. Here’s an update.
