Is It Plausible?: Joe Biden's energy plan calls for an overhaul of the electric grid so that it runs solely on “clean” electricity by 2035. But replacing the 2,750 terawatt-hours of electricity per year being produced by coal- and natural gas-fired generators will require massive amounts of renewables or nuclear.
