Technology Review has announced this year's TR35 , our annual list of 35 men and women under the age of 35 whose inventions and research we find most exciting. Blazing new paths in a range of fields, including medicine, energy, communications, IT, consumer technology, and entertainment, the 2011 TR35 are developing software that can't crash, using fast DNA sequencing for medical tests, creating a cheap, safe material for electric-vehicle batteries, guaranteeing security in the cloud, and improving connectivity in poor nations.
The 2011 TR35 will present their work at the emtech MIT conference and also be honored onstage during a dedicated awards ceremony. Click here to view the agenda.
