CNNC Tongliao Uranium Qianjiadian Expansion Project was Approved
On January 8, CNNC Tongliao
Uranium Mine Co., Ltd’s project proposal on Qianjiadian II uranium
deposit in-situ leaching uranium mining engineering was approved by
State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National
Defense, predicting that Tongliao Uranium will begin the project
construction in 2014.
Qianjiadian II uranium deposit in-situ leaching uranium mining engineering is another new reform measure of Department of Geology & Mining CNNC who cooperated with CNPC to promote the overall development of Qianjiadian uranium deposit. This project is a key capacity construction project for Department of Geology & Mining CNNC during the 12th Five-Year Plan and is planning to be put into operation in 2015.
