Some N.Y. lawmakers seek 50-mile evacuation zone for Indian Point
New York state lawmakers are proposing a resolution to plan for evacuating people living within 50 miles of Entergy's Indian Point nuclear plant in case of a nuclear disaster. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has said that the current 10-mile evacuation zone is appropriate. The Wall Street Journal/The Associated Press
