On April 5, 2009, Obama discussed a number of paths he intended to pursue in working toward his dream of worldwide nuclear disarmament.
"To reduce our warheads and stockpiles, we will negotiate a new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with the Russians this year," Obama pledged.
