GE Hitachi, India are in discussions over nuclear energy venture
GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy is in discussions with India's state-run nuclear firm to construct at least six reactors, company executive Danny Roderick announced. The firm said in January that, pending regulatory approval, it could provide India with advanced boiling-water reactors generating up to about 9 gigawatts. GE Hitachi also aims to build 15 to 18 reactors in Europe "between now and 2030," Roderick added. Reuters
